Message from Dr. Dugger

Parents and students,
Our 2019-2020 school year has come to an end and we truly wish that things had ended differently. Nevertheless, we will continue to make the best out of an unusual situation. We will collect all books (textbooks and library) on Friday, May 22. The process will begin at 9:00 a.m.and end promptly at 2:00 p.m.
To remain in compliance with the CDC, Georgia Department of Education, and CCPS, we will continue practicing safe distancing. Therefore, tables will be set up near the cafeteria and media center entrance/exit doors. Staff members will be available to make certain the process runs as smoothly as possible. Parents will be expected to drive through and drop-off books. Students will not be allowed to enter the building to visit lockers or for any other reason. Locker cleanout will take place when we have been given clearance to no longer practice safe distancing. If the process changes, we will inform you as soon as possible. This is our attempt  to ensure safety for all.  Please make every effort to return all books on the designated day. Lost textbooks and/or library books will be addressed at another time.
Finally, students with athletic gear and instruments will receive a separate communication.
Thank you and please stay safe.
Dr. Dugger
