Dress Code

School Uniforms

Beginning the 2008-2009 school year Kendrick Middle School became a “uniform dress school."  This was a collaborative decision between parents, PTSA, School Council, faculty and administration.  In making this change to our dress code policy, our goal will be to emphasize student responsibility for their appearance.  Student’s clothing, make-up and hairstyles should reflect neatness, cleanliness and self-respect so that the school is a desirable place to promote academic achievement and student success.

6TH GRADE PARENTS: Please keep in mind that your child is entering middle school...not high school. They are still very young and we would like to do everything we can to make sure they are dressed modestly. Before purchasing school clothing for our young ladies, please double check to make sure clothing is not too tight or revealing. For our young men, please make sure pants will stay up with a belt.
